How do the undulating lines of the mountain range translate to light in the interior space?
AFTER THE VISIT reflects the memories of Korea’s mountains from my childhood. Whenever I returned for visits, seeing the endless mountains lining the skyline rekindled that connection. To preserve the reverence I felt seeing these huge masses of land forming a beautiful composition with the color of the sky, I made this light sculpture that translates their colors and contours into the intimate scale of the living space. The sculpture becomes a tangible object bridging the unfathomable immensity of natural landforms with human experience.

Waves in Natural and Human Forms
The lines formed by mountain ranges mirror natural phenomena expressed by waveforms. Mountains themselves are born from the turbulent movement of land and rock over millennia, standing as monumental testaments to the passage of time. Similarly, our world and lives are shaped by building blocks that ripple through us like waves, capturing the movements and transformations that define existence.
